FIRST wedding of March (we have 11 in March this year).

Wedding Location: Al Cielo Hotel Xpu-Ha Beach

Jeff & Julie commissioned us and hosted an invite list of about 45 guests to the lovely Alcielo Al Cielo in Xpu-Ha Beach, Riviera Maya Mexico. The beach is nothing short of the actual Corona Commercial. Half a dozen Palapas are romantically placed around this location.

This Philadelphia crew planned their wedding at the El Dorado Resort in the beautiful Riviera Maya. We had the honor to work at yet another beautiful location with an exotic intimate setting on the beach. The evening was topped off with a perfect full moon that was rising just over the reception under the palapa.


Sol Tamargo & I both teamed up as del Sol on this wedding... We put 120+ images in this slideshow....

Wedding Location: Shangri-La Caribe Hotel & Resort, Playa del Carmen, Mexico

Leah & Mike planned their wedding on the beautiful beaches of Playa del Carmen. Shangri-La's hotel grounds are unique because it was built in the dunes of the beach. This resort doesn't even feel like a huge resort because of its intimate beach environment. Pathways literally weave in and out of sandy palm filled beachfront. A visit to Shangri-la is a Must. Another beautiful thing about this location, it is a few blocks from our condo here in Playa... So, we were shooting in our backyard!

Wedding Location: Occidental Grand Xcaret Resort Riviera Maya Mexico

Dream weddings, Riviera Maya style.... This just goes to prove, you can plan your dream wedding here in the beautiful beaches of Mexico. Unlike the typical beach environment, Xcaret offers rocky coasts with underwater caves with lush coral habitats. The grounds of the hotel contain the ruins of a previous Mayan Village... Totally a most amazing place! A that is a must visit on the list when touring the Riviera Maya.

Special thank you goes to my friend and awesome photographer, Ben Vigil for offering his assistance.. He was shooting a wedding in Campeche Mexico 3 days after mine... I enjoy shooting weddings with my friends... Some say I have the perfect job...Hanging out in paradise, doing something I love, and spending time with great friends, photographing subjects that are on vacation and as beautiful as this bride, Lici... Yep, they are right... this job ROCKS!

This hotel has several locations in its jungle filled grounds where ancient civilizations of Mayan People built their homes! This ruin is still in great shape...

Wedding Location: Location: Hotel Esencia, Xpu-Ha beach, Riviera Maya Mexico

Hotel Esencia is a Boutique Hotel, meaning the property is smaller, the # of guests is greatly reduced making the stay very private, I'd say 50 or less. There are many different boutique hotels along the Riviera Maya coast, each one very different. With these smaller hotels, the staff pampers and caters to your every need. That was very much the case at Esencia. The entire property was transformed into Danny & Abby's private domain. The intimate party setting was perfect for their 50 guests.

Wedding Location: Na Balam, Isla Mujeres Mexico

John & Lisa made us feel at home as honored guests as part of their special day. With their intimate group of 25, Na Balam was the perfect refuge for Mayan paradise. The waters of Isla Mujeres are crystal clear aqua blue. The white fine sand beaches make the perfect place to chill out in a Hammock. The resort faces N / NW so every evening is decorated by a perfect sunset!
